Mens Hockey South Wales

Since promotion to the Marches 1 league the team have more than held their own, though games are competitive affairs with one or two goals deciding most matches.

Encompassing the area of the traditional Marcher Lords, Abergavenny marks the western edge of the league, with Cirencester and Stroud on the eastern edges. The team finished mid table in the 2018/2019 season.

The league structure normally provides 20 weeks of all-weather hockey, alternatively home and away, with the hosting team providing ‘teas’ – a lovely tradition of hospitality and good-natured sportsmanship.
